KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman said that it is quite normal for any party to ask for a seat or even request for additional seats. He said this to the media when asked about Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) president Tan Sri Joseph Kurup’s dissatisfaction over Umno’s wanting the Pensiangan seat and the complaint of UPKO secretary general Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau relating to Umno seeking the seats of Tuaran and Putatan.
“As party members with experience, we are a very big family within the Barisan Nasional and don’t worry about it because we will solve this problem one by one. “At the end of the day, we will be together and more united to face the general election,” he said.
When asked about the preparations for the forthcoming election, Musa said he had asked all assemblymen and members of parliament to go to the grassroot level to know the problems facing the people and to overcome them. He advised all elected representatives to talk less and work more as the people will judge them according to their work. Musa stressed that the leaders should ask the people what their problems are and to assist to solve them.
